Need help with acne and acne scars. please help?
I had severe acne a while back after running out of proactiv and them taking FOREVER to send another package. now all of those pimples are now terrible scars all over my forehead and sides. I still have some pimples and some on my chest, back, and shoulders but I really want nothing to do with acne ever again and I feel like everything is hopeless is removing the scars and the acne. I've used many products and home remedies but nothing is working. I'm concerned mostly about the scars. Please help?

How can i get rid of back acne scars?
I have acne on my back and chest. I went to a dermatologist last week and he gave me a wash, pads, and a cream. It seems to be working, but my biggest concern is the scars that i have.I just want to feel beautiful and i don't want to have to constantly cover up. what can i do to get rid of the scars or speed up the process of my acne healing?

Acne advice for red spots and acne scars?
I went to the dermatologist three months ago. When I went, I had bad acne mostly around my cheeks and jaw. The doctor then prescribed retin a and clindamycin phosphate lotion. I have stopped using the lotion because it made my skin extremely oily but I have been using retin a every night using salicylic acid mornings and nights. I don't have many breakouts anymore but I have a lot of red spots. The thing that I'm most stressed about is my acne scars. I noticed last week that I have a huge acne scar on my right cheek And it looks like a few more acne scars are developing. The scars seem to be getting deeper every day or at least more noticeable. I know I can't do much about the present acne scars but what can I do to prevent future acne scars? Stop using retin a or salicylic acid?... Try a different face wash? Also, how can I reduce these red spots?By the way, I have brown skin and I haven't been picking or squeezing at whiteheads. Your advice would be extremely appreciated Thanks

I used to have really bad acne a few years ago. I now use the proactive 3 step system and it works really well for me. I don't have acne anymore, I just break out once in a while, which I think is pretty normal. But I have really bad acne scars and I'm not completely confident with my skin yet. I've heard that Mederma is possibly the best thing for this and I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried it?
