After acne treatments?
I did have acne infection spreading around the areas of my nose, chin and mouth areas which was quite bad Went to a dermatologist and she prescribed me with 1 Oral Erythromycin tablet 2 Differin topical gelThe results? My acne stopped appearing in just one day of taking the medication.Could it be that effective? I am quite shocked that it only took a day of medication to stop the acne and pimples from appearing which I suffered for almost 8 years ? So if thats the case, how long should I continue with taking these medications or should I use them for life?Another question is, now that the acne is gone, I am still left with this dark marks hyper pigmentation? from the after effects of those big nasty acne around my mouth areas. Would Differin help peel and clear these marks?

Could I use Calamine Lotion as a acne treatment and a makeup primer?
I saw online that it can be effective as an acne treatment. I tried it, and it has been working. I also noticed that it creates a dry, matte cover on my skin, which is pretty light anyways so the pink ness isn't very visible. I was thinking about using this as a makeup primer, because it seems to control oiliness and redness on my skin. Would this be like, allright? Would putting it under my makeup and wearing it all day affect my face in a negative way?

Home remedy acne treatments?
I've tried toothpaste, hydrogen peroxide, oxy10, acne free, lemon juice, all of which are directly applied. I wash my face daily, and drink a lot of water, although my diet could probably use some improvement. I try to eat as healthy as possible, but I do snack here and there and eat a lot of spicy foods.I don't have the money to spend on those big acne removal brands, so if anyone knows some good home remedies that'd be great. I don't expect it to be cleared over night.

What's the best acne treatment?!?
Have very little acne like small ones just a few on my forehead and like a tiny one on my cheek, but the ones on my forehead can spread. I really don't want it to get worse. What's the best treatment???

Prescribed acne treatments?
I had really bad acne when I was younger and was put on accutane when I was 12. My dermatologist told me that I may eventually have to go back on because I took it at such a young age. A few years later I started taking Tetracycline pills while using topical Retin A. The Tetracycline made me nauseous so I stopped taking it although the Retin A somewhat helped . It's been a few more years since I took the tetracycline and I think I'm going to make an appointment with my dermatologist soon. Are there any other medications I can ask him about during my next visit? Prom is in June and I want my face to look better by then, but I don't want to go through the awful dry skin and monthly pregnancy tests and everything that comes along with accutane. What is the best brand to use for mild acne treatment?
Until about a month ago, I have never had so much of a breakout on my face. It's along my hairline, my chin, above my lip, and on the sides of my face. I also have blackheads all over my nose. Over the summer, I purchased kiehl's rare earth facial cleanser and mask. It didn't really do anything for me, except keep my face clean. The only thing that has worked for me are biore's nose strips. I need a decently priced cleanser or mask that will get rid of my pimples. The only thing is though, I don't want it to dry out my face. What could I use?
