Is it possible that carrying a heavy bag and acne treatment can stunt your growth?
I've heard that a side effect of acutane can stunt your growth, although I don't take acutane. Last year, for 6 months, I took tablets for my pimples which has minocycline. This year I've started using a cream called Epiduo and this has been going on for a couple of weeks now.At school, I am forced to carry a bag around which is about less than half a kilo in weight, although it still feels quite heavy. I don't carry all my books around, mostly I only carry 2 books and 2 textbooks for the subjects I have. I also carry my pencil case, my lunchbox and drink bottle and anyone who even lifts it with one hand realises its heavy weight.I'm afraid that I am not growing anymore and that some of these factors may have contributed to my growth being stunted. I've been about 162 163cm tall for a while now, about a year. I'm 14 and started my menstruating when I was 12. I consider myself to be healthy and I swim once a week.

i do not have severe acne, more around moderate or in the middle of severe and moderate . i was prescribed a clindamycin phosphate topical gel yesterday and got it today, i am going to probably start using it tomorrow and was wondering what the side effects of this gel and if it actually has worked. i was my face twice a day and i am barely going to start using a moisturizer not prescribed . when do i apply the topical gel? after washing my face? do i use a moisturizer at all?

I currently use Proactiv and it worked and everything for a while but it's like I've been getting a lot more breakouts. I currently have 3 or 4 pimples on my face and I usually have like none I know this girl who has the CLEAREST skin ever like celebrity skin and she only uses Clean and Clear and some Loreal stuff. So I want to switch to another acne product but I heard that it's hard to switch to other products while using Proactiv and you break out A LOT before it actually works. I did have acne infection spreading around the areas of my nose, chin and mouth areas which was quite bad Went to a dermatologist and she prescribed me with 1 Oral Erythromycin tablet 2 Differin topical gelThe results? My acne stopped appearing in just one day of taking the medication.Could it be that effective? I am quite shocked that it only took a day of medication to stop the acne and pimples from appearing which I suffered for almost 8 years ? So if thats the case, how long should I continue with taking these medications or should I use them for life?Another question is, now that the acne is gone, I am still left with this dark marks hyper pigmentation? from the after effects of those big nasty acne around my mouth areas. Alright here's the deal. I have mild acne. I'm graduating college soon, getting ready for interviews, so I'm ready to look like a big boy.I've tried a lot of acne treatments, including prescription on and off since I was a teen. Never really stuck with any of them. Recently I went in to the doctor at school, and she gave me Amoxicillin 500mg capsule oral medication plus Tretinoin Cream, 0.05 %. Oral medication has worked in the past, but I hated taking it cause it made my face burn and flake, and I just don't like taking medication, so I'm really trying to avoid meds.I couldn't even understand my doctor when she talked and prescribed this to me, and I looked online, and I'm seeing Amoxicillin used to treat throat, ears, and even gonorrhea. Is this really what I'm supposed to be taking?Im finally ready to stick with a treatment, any comments on what my doc prescribed me any alternatives that have worked for you that don't involve taking medication?
